Headquartered in Singapore, with presence in India and the UK, ESG Buildtech is an Xcelerate SG venture and part of Stirrup Communication Consultants.

We bring together global best practices and deep local expertise to deliver end-to-end ESG solutions for real assets. Unlike opportunistic advisory models, we embed ESG into the core of business operations — addressing real challenges, driving measurable improvements, and enabling both top-line growth and bottom-line performance.

Our senior leadership team brings extensive experience at the intersection of real estate, sustainability, and finance, giving us a unique understanding of the practical challenges organizations face.

Priya Vakil

Priya Vakil is a sustainability and ESG advisor with more than 17 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure, and sustainable finance. Her work integrates ESG strategy, decarbonization, climate risk, and technology to deliver measurable outcomes for investors, developers, and asset owners. She also advises the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on green buildings, resilience frameworks, and climate finance, and supports GRESB in shaping technical guidance for the APAC region.

Priya holds advanced credentials including the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing, an MSc from the Architectural Association in London, and multiple green building accreditations, and has been recognized with the Abdul Kalam Azad National Award for Excellence and global recognition from UBS for sustainability innovation.

Bala Vishwanathan

Bala Viswanathan is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and the built environment. His career spans senior roles at global corporations such as Trane Technologies and Ingersoll Rand, as well as entrepreneurial ventures where he has built and scaled technology-led sustainability businesses from the ground up.

At ESG Buildtech, Bala focuses on advisory and technology solutions that enable the real estate sector to advance its decarbonisation and resilience goals. His work integrates data, digital systems, and strategic foresight to help organisations navigate the evolving sustainability landscape and build long-term value for stakeholders
